Do we still get Covid pay? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So i just tested positive for covid a couple days ago (Tuesday) and obviously can’t come into work. I’ve never used my covid pay before , is it still in effect? Would i get paid the days i was scheduled for? And for how long? My manager literally doesn’t tell me or inform me on anything i don’t even know when i can go back

As far as I know, covid pay is still in effect and you get paid for the hours you were originally scheduled for.

Do you know up until when? If CDC guidelines are only to stay home for 5 days would i only get paid the 5 days after i tested ? Sorry if that’s confusing I’m just lost

Isolation pay is now allotted as 2 uses of 5 day isolation for quarter 2 so you will be eligible for a use of isolation pay of 5 days.
To note with this, it is not 5 scheduled days, it is 5 days from your first day of isolation. So if you were scheduled Monday Tuesday and Sunday and started to isolate on Monday, you would only be paid for your scheduled shifts of Monday-Friday

Hm I'm not really sure tbh... It might depend on if you're vaccinated or still showing symptoms. But I have seen posts where baristas had to come back after 5 days because of the new cdc guidelines 🤷♀️ I would just call corporate and ask because its confusing lol

I was told the cdc is 5days for no symptoms and still 10 for symptoms. But yeah call corporate
