Unfortunately you can’t, however you can convently have a “killer headache” and use some of it.

yeah go get you a migraine for a few days. won’t put you out w covid isolation and is still believable

Don't call in with a migraine. I always judged the baristas that called in with headaches. Say you have the flu and stay out for a week, my dude.

you should be careful who you judge for calling out with migraines. I know for me to call out with a migraine it’s bc I’m unable to move. Sometimes migraines can be debilitating and cause those who have them to vomit or not be able to move without an extreme amount of pain.

I understand that. It's not migraines necessarily. I just used to work with a girl who would call in for being "tired and having a headache." Used to make me insane.

Okay yeah that’s completely fair.

My manager straight up told me if I wanted to use some of my sick hours to pad my check that I could. The downside is then you don’t have as many for when you actually get sick but like you said you’ve got more than enough

Personally, I’m going to treat my sick time like gold. With the paid quarantine time being knocked down to 5 days I want to be sure I have enough that I can rest until I’m 100% if I catch Covid again. I’m fully vaccinated and it still kicked me down for a full 2 weeks.
