Old caramel brûlée sauce (self.starbucksbaristas)

I miss it. It was thicker and harder to pump, for sure. That and the toasted white mocha pump gave me literal tendinitis that I had to go get physical therapy for bc I was on dt and cafe bar every morning in a high volume store. However (the old formula) tasted so much better! This past year’s formula, although easier to pump, tasted like a cheap chemically altered knockoff. Anyone else agree?? Or am I imagining.

i think all the holiday sauces this year were super watered down and chemically tasting. i almost threw up drinking a toasted white mocha because of how bad it was. especially those sprinkles- you’d think they would be able to come up with sprinkles that better pair a hot drink like that. not to mention the pumpkin …. also yes the caramel brûlée was super underwhelming and the most watered down of them all.

Every time I THINK I want to make a drink for myself w Sugar Cookie, I try it and it tastes so artificial. I forget how bad it is and then I try it again a week later thinking a different syrup combo will work😅😅

A lot of the syrups and sauces lately have been tasting artificial and/or bad. I feel like Starbucks has been focusing on the scents rather than the flavor. Multiple flavors have been likened to Bath and Body Works and a lot of them haven’t worked out imo.

I agree. I was super excited for caramel brûlée to come back bc it was my favorite, but it was so underwhelming.

I wish the toppings would go there’s so many and it takes a whole extra step. Plus who wants chunky bits in their drink anyway?
