I’ve had this happen twice. The food waste is frustrating. I hope you were able to take your store thermometer and temp the items!
We’ve found that the top boxes are often out of temp but the middle and bottom ones are still frozen. Also, if they are pastries we keep them, bc technically pastries are good for two days after you pull them. So date all the pastries and pull only from that pile the next two days (make sure they are stored in a fridge, if you can, or at least off of the ground…)
I’ve found this helps a bit reduce the waste and salvage what you can.
Also, make sure you adjust the order receipt or mark the food out as damages so your inventory is correct.

Our delivery guys consistently show up after close and just leave our food in the lobby overnight.
