Diabetic here.
I see why everyone thinks is is funny but it isn't. I'm assuming he maybe ordered a sugar free vanilla latte and instead got regular vanilla. This sent his body into diabetic shock called DKA, Diabetic Keto Acidosis. It's incredibly dangerous and can and has killed diabetics before.
