So I’ve been off for the last few days and I so happened to start getting Covid symptoms (Thursday) during these days off I honestly thought it was a cold and i would be better by Sunday my next scheduled shift. So today Saturday i realize i am not feeling better so i go ahead and call my store and let them know. so they tell me i have to quarantine and then i get a call from the assistant manager asking me why it took me so long to let them know about my symptoms. My response was it’s my days off I didn’t know i had to report how i was feeling to a Manger because we were never told to do that. So am i in the wrong for not letting them know sooner? She even said the SM even messaged you yesterday an updated schedule because of how many people out were gonna have so it would be nice to hear sooner but my thing is I’m not clocked in I don’t wanna know anything about work if I am not clocked in.
