Tips for a new Starbucks Barista. (self.starbucksbaristas)

I am currently waiting on being accepted to about 6 Starbucks in my area through the Starbucks career website for a few weeks and was wondering what kind of help would have helped you when you started out as a barista? I am currently just reading the Starbucks menu and getting familiar with how different drinks are made and the process of it.

I made $1 a few months ago. I am in a UK café store so it might not all be relevant, but some of it should still be useful!

I like learning so the day after my first training day, I memorized all the recipe cards. You don’t have to but I like being able xtra prepared

Have you been contacted by any of the stores? A few weeks is a long time if not, your application has probably already been wiped from their systems.
