I’m so confused about this new change to the isolation thing. I tested positive on Wednesday and the 5 days end on Monday. My next test isn’t until Thursday… I don’t feel right coming back tomorrow due to me still coughing having chest pains and a stuffy noise. I need some advice from the community so comment away what I should do or am I wrong for feeling like this is not the right thing to do.

I think the Starbucks new policy is 5 days from when you started having symptoms, unless your symptoms are still severe, which it sounds like yours are still pretty bad. But Specifically if you still have a fever, do not go back until the fever has been gone for 24 hours.

Ps. However. my sister, her family and myself all had Covid and the urgent care person told us 7 days from onset of symptoms, just to be safe. And also the 24 hours after fever.

The dr. at urgent care told my sister to wait 7 days from onset before sending her kids back to school… to me this is probably a good gage, as we work just as close with our fellow partners as kids get with their friends at school.
