If I have to make one more Honey Citrus Mint Tea!!! (self.starbucksbaristas)

Today I swear I had to make an OBSCENE amount of these stupid teas. I wouldn’t even be that mad normally if a drink was gaining popularity online and more people ordered it. But THIS. You literally have to freaking put in a Herculean effort every time one of these is ordered. Going to the refresher area to grab the lemonade, steaming it, getting the two tea bag types, double cupping, doing agave if you don’t have honey (which we haven’t) and do half water and half lemonade. It’s such a pain. MAKE IT STOPPPPP

Honestly. I stopped putting in the honey or agave. They don’t seem to taste the difference

We started keeping lemonade in bar fridge and a cube with some of the teas in it so we don’t have to run around as much

Dude yesterday we were out of every ingredient for it except lemonade- both tea bags, honey, and we even were out of agave so we could sub it. People will do ANYTHING to have this drink!!! So many people were like “fine can I just have a different tea with lemonade and peach juice or something”. It’s crazy. It’s not even good I don’t understand the obsession

we were out of jade citrus mint, honey, agave, and peach tranquility and they STILL did EVERYTHING they could to mimic the hcmt. I swear to god I wish this drink would go away.

I’m running out of lemonade bc of a late truck and I’ve already made 6 this morning :( I’ve been ordering a box of each tea every week now. We’ve been tying the tea bags together and hooking them in a double cupped venti cup. We’re also out of sleeves so we have to triple cup the hot teas/americanos and people are losing it over THAT. I don’t know what else to do at this point, we can barely get honey in in the first place!!
