DTO & grabbing food (self.starbucksbaristas)

Does anyone else have a problem when they’re DTO’ing and grabbing food and their window person does NOT help for anything for typing orders in like?? If you don’t help me it messes everyone up including you. I’ve had multiple times where a customer orders a complicated drink and I’m away from the screen doing food and my window doesn’t help me and then we’re there stuck like ugh whenever I’m window I always make it a priority to help my DTO.

At my store, window isn't supposed to have a headset since they're supposed to be connecting with the customers (I know, I know 🙄) so I just DTO/warm as if they don't have it on even if they do.
If they do have one on and I need help, I ask them for help. There are some people who want help and some who have their own routine (me) that would rather do everything myself.
