I put in my notice yesterday but I let my manager know I want to stay until the end of the month. I honestly didn't hate the job that much, it's definitely been a physically exhausting job but I've worked at worse places *cough* Amazon *cough*. And I was honestly planning on sticking around for a while until I got a new job kinda out of the blue.

Anyway, today I walked in and the first thing my ASM said to me was that someone overheard our conversation yesterday and told a bunch of people that I'm leaving. She said one of the SSV's brought it to her attention and when they find out who spread the word they're gonna have a talk with them about confidentiality. So today on the floor has been awkward because I know everyone knows but they aren't saying anything because they know they aren't supposed to know. It's frustrating cause I don't mind people knowing but I wanted to tell everyone myself instead of having it turned into gossip behind my back.
