I don’t want to go back to my store (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by scmfckwaido
I’ve been home on winter break at my store in my hometown and I love it. I wish I could be here everyday. I am dreading going back to my store in my college town. I’ve felt like puking every time I thought of going back. My coworkers are just fine, my store manager and I just butt heads way to much. They’ve told me I have an attitude problem and have been outright rude to me. I’m genuinely good at my job and I can’t think of a time when I have been mean/rude to them. They micromanage everyone and I can’t stand it anymore. They scheduled me before I was going to be back in town, after scheduling me past when I was leaving for winter break, causing me to stay on campus longer. I’m just tired of being there and I can’t take it anymore.

That’s all. Just needed to rant.

Transfer stores or find something new, bestie. Good luck 😔

Jobs aren't exactly hard to find right now. If you don't like the workplace then you should just quit or transfer stores. No job is worth feeling that miserable, especially one that doesn't even pay all that much. If they are being asshats then don't feel obligated to put in 2 weeks notice. Let them reflect on why they have a retention problem.

The thing is, I love my job. I love it so much. I just don’t like this store. I’m trying to transfer to the store in the next town over, but they’re full.

But yes, I have been trying to look for other jobs bc idk if I can do it while at school.
