Cold Brew Help (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I have been seeking out the best cold brew close to the smoothness as Starbucks but I haven’t found anything like it. Does anyone know how they make it so I can try at home!

This is how I do it at home: Select favorite dark roast: Have barista grind on “French press” setting on the grinder at Starbucks.
Put like a half inch on the bottom of your French press. Pour cold filtered water into french press and put top on dont push down. Let set at room temp for 20-24 hours.
Press that shit. Pour over ice

I really like Verona for cold brew, but also if you can get reserve beans, Vietnam is 100/10 for cold brew.

what i have done is just used a french press and put it in the fridge for 20 hours and then filter it with the thing, the Guatemala blend is poppin for cold brew imo

we just grind the beans and let them sit for 24 hours in water. then pour and serve.

isn't it 20 hours? and it's also diluted 1:1 with water before serving

Do u put it in the fridge or just leave it at room temperature?

And what ratio do u use for the coffee grind to water?
Epona_02 2 points 1y ago
we let it sit at room temp for 20 hours, then pour, dilute, and refrigerate.

i can’t remember the exact ratio, i’m usually on bar not CS lol, but we make huge batches. if i remember i’ll update or someone else might jump in

I think it's 14L to 5lbs coffee if I remember correctly. What you can convert that down to however, I don't know. I'm pretty sure Kroger carries some sort of Starbucks at home cold brew beans now though
