I'm a green bean and I don't get much practice in store as it's a very busy store so I was studying a bit at home. Was wondering if I can run up two different scenarios in my head and you guys let me know any tips and If I got it down right?
Sorry I know **generally** this info is available online, but for me it really helps to act out specific unique cases.
**Hot Bar Scenario**: Say I have the following line of drinks: White Mocha No Whip, Hot Chai Tea Latte, Matcha Latte, Americano.
I would: Steam Milk. Press shots first, quickly pump white mocha into cup and place cup under shots before they drop. Start pouring milk for Chai. As soon as first milk steams, sanitize wand, switch pitchers and now steam the milk for the chai. Pump Chai Syrups for 2nd drink. Finish 1st drink (pour milk in cup, close lid) and connect with customer. Wash first pitcher. As 2nd milk is steaming, Pour milk for matcha latte, and put in the matcha scoops into pitcher. When 2nd milk finishes steaming, sanitize and switch milks and steam 3rd matcha/milk. Finish Chai and connect. Wash 2nd pitcher. Start Americano by pumping shots into cup. As shots are pouring, take 3rd milk, sanitize, and finish and connect for matcha latte. Finally, pour hot water for Americano and finish Americano.
**Cold Bar Scenario**: Strawberry Frap, Iced matcha latte, vanilla sweet cream cold brew, coffee Frap.
Pour puree + milk into cup and then into blender. Add rest of ingredients/ice and blend. Start Matcha Latte: put milk/matcha/ice into shaker and shake. Finish and connect with frap. Start cold brew, by pouring syrups or doing as much as you can (I don't think it matters? As long as you start it before finishing the 2nd drink?). Finish and connect for Iced Matcha latte. Start coffee frap and blend. Finish and connect the cold brew. Lastly finish and connect for the last frap.
I know this is an annoying post, but If I am able to successfully understand this scenario it will really help me in understanding sequencing. Thanks in advance!
