I had a Karen yell at me this morning because we opened 30 mins later today because of isolations. She said she wasted her whole effing lunch waiting for us to open…I replied with “Well, you’re the one who chose to wait longer than 2 mins after realizing we weren’t opening or answering your calls”. Pretty sure my manager will be getting a call tomorrow

We have reviews complaining about us blocking out one of the highway entrypoints (we have multiple) because:

1- This specific one was abused to cut long drive-thru lines

2-when it was being abused in a long line that currently wasn't moving, it created a traffic hazard.


We also strangely enough had a lot less Karens coming in after we blocked off that point.

I wouldn't doubt that someone would say that about my store as we've had to be closed 3 days in the past 2-3 weeks and also several days with reduced hours. Since 10 people at my store tested positive there's only so much we can do 🤷‍♀️

Just checked our reviews, we don’t get them often, but there was a one star review complaining about our stock from five days ago🤪✌🏻

I honestly don’t understand how some people can be so sheltered and ignorant. There’s this thing called a global pandemic that’s kinda preventing people from going to work.

A Karen at the drive through window screamed to us that we’re all worthless and that we don’t deserve jobs, because we were out of peppermint during the Christmas season! She also called Corporate on us!! Such lovely Christmas spirit :)

LOL next to our reduced hours signage I have the new “Join Us” placards to promote hiring. When they complain, I always hand them a placard with their order and tell them their order is free if they work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We had a lady get mad because we had to remind her we’re in a pandemic. Literally every problem she had was literally because of the pandemic. Shortages of product AND partners. Wear your mask and get vaccinated, we wouldn’t have this problem hehe

We have great customers who ask about how everyone's doing while we're closing early and were shut down for a few weeks, they tell me how much they missed us and worried, and now they've made accommodations to come see us while we're open if they're customers that usually come later in the day. But then there's the few telling me how inconvenient it's been to have been closed and now have abbreviated hours, and one Karen asking who had covid and said she wishes she could place bets on who would get it next and when we'd be shut down again. I'll give the sweet regulars all my love even when I'm not feeling my best, because they really are amazing and even if they get crazy concocted drinks, they tip well and are always happy to see us. I'll take the one Karen. I feel lucky to have as many great customers as I do on a daily basis.

I had this exact argument with a customer saying how mad they are cause on online the hours don’t match the store hours which I understand but don’t come yelling me at me thinking I can change that. I said I’m sorry we were super understaffed theirs only a handful of us left .
