getting the covid booster on a scheduled shift day (self.starbucksbaristas)

hi everyone, i’m no longer a partner, but i wanted to hop on here for a friend of mine that is, and ask what the policy is for having a covid booster scheduled on a day you’re supposed to work? my friend was finally able to find an appointment, but the SM said she either needs to reschedule it or find coverage for her shift.

It’s not during a shift. You’re scheduled as coverage to be on the floor! You will get paid but it needs to be before/after work or on a day off, and you log the hours in the DRB

do you know if it’s in writing somewhere? our SM is an ass, and i would like my friend to have something in writing to back her up in case the SM tries to argue it

it was all over the weekly updates and is probably in Starbucks COVID policies that you should be able to find online. it is your SM’s job to find coverage
