I suggest you watch the training videos with them to make sure what you teach matches what they're learning on the videos and standards. And the hands on is just you doing what you'll be teaching them first while you explain the routine and the reason for what you're doing (for example: aerating to create foam, using a timer for CS to keep track of your coffee and cycle, sequencing for efficiency, etc...) a lot depends on them, if they're visual, hands on, or repetitive learners. Some catch on by watching and others have to just practice on their own, others you have to explain and walk them through a few times and then they'll still ask until they remember it on their own. You can also find training guides on partner hub by going to the train a partner section and printing the sheets with tips, instructions, and even questions so you have an idea of what to cover. I personally like starting them 1. Register 2
Drive thru 3. Customer Support 4. Sbux coffee academy stuff 5. Espresso 6. Cold bar 7. Support positions (warming) IMO them learning it in this order they have an idea of what drinks we have and they've seen the recipes a bit before we jump onto makong them.
Hope this helps :)
