Yes 100% I hated those aprons with a passion. The only think that actually helped for me was wearing collared shirts and wearing the neck strap like, outside of the collar, if that makes sense. By the end of my time at bux I literally refused to wear anything but collared shirts because of this.

yeah i definitely need to acquire more collared shirts 😪

Yeah same problem this is all that’s worked for me

I did this with hoodies and loose turtleneck sweaters as well.

Loosen your apron. If it’s tight it’ll press your neck forward. A lot of people want the apron to cover the clothes more and I get that, but it’s either more coverage or more neck issues.

It’s probably more from the stance you have to take on bar, with ur neck in that position it’s not great for posture and then the apron causes it to hurt. Def look up some stretches for your neck area. I had to go to PT for it

No but my glasses and the mask combo are a bitch 🙃 the only time I get relief is on my lunch or a 10 😂😂😂

i find that loosening the apron strap around your neck helps. i had that happen to me as well, and it almost felt like rope burn on the back of my neck. especially if you have a lot of things in your apron pockets and the waist tie is either loose or not tied high enough. i recommend trying to loosen the top part of the apron, and then tying the waist straps tighter to keep it up.

Yeah this, think of it like a backpacking pack, as much on your hips as you can.

I started wearing my apron how I saw on tiktok. Basically fold it in half with the logo covering the pockets. Tie it behind and then in front and flip the top up over your neck. Makes the middle tighter and toes pulling on your neck in my opinion. And the strings are hidden between you and the apron so no one has bitched at me about it being ‘out of dress code’ ….yet lol

my mom pointed out my posture yesterday and how much worse it’s gotten and i straight up looked her dead in the eye and said “wear my apron for a day and tell me how you feel” those things KILLED my posture.

I was having neck-pain with my non-starbucks apron. I couldn't find any online solutions so I made one myself. I couldn't find any pictures of a starbucks apron that would let me see the detail of the straps, so I don't know of this will help. I figured I'd put it here just in case. I hope you find something that keeps that neck strap away from your neck. Good luck.

Also I am forced to ewe the sb black hat and it ruins my hair line so bad!!! Like I wish we didn’t have to wear hats all day everyday bc it really ducks with my hair and after working for two months my hair looks damaged :/ also for the apron I loosen it
angryairheadaries [OP] 1 points 1y ago
i have bangs and my hair is constantly fucked up because of the hats

i feel i should update everyone: i loosened my apron today, took everything out of my pockets except my sharpies and tied the waist tie tighter and i feel 100% better. i mean, only after one day but still, progress is progress!!!!

I actually legitimately have scars on the back of my neck because they would gives me burns that looked like rug burns. I hated them. I don’t even have any recommendations tbh I just kept my pockets light as I could.
