Any Pointers (Tips) when on the bar? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My Shift supervisor is telling me to put 3 shots for a venti shaken espresso because that's the CORRECT PROCEDURE. Last I checked 3 is not enough and not the correct amount of shots. Alongside telling me powder (Matcha, Choco &Vbean) has to be dated for seven days. At my old store we date it for the next following day after we clean the containers.

I'm honestly confused and can't tell who's right or wrong? With that being said: How much espresso shots do venti shaken espresso needs and do the powders really go on for 7 days?

I'm confused and am looking back at my old barista cheat sheet...(Also if anyone has one to kindly share, I would deeply appreciate it.)

Your store should have recipe cards and an up to date shelf life standards sheet. Venti shaken espressos get 4 shots and van bean & malt powder get 7 days. Whenever a newbie at my store wants to tell me I'm wrong I just go, "maybe I'm remembering wrong, let's check the recipe card. Oh look, I was right, lol." Works every time. Next time you SS gets on you, recommend checking the cards, they'll never let you down.

Listen… I put 4 shots in the venti. I don’t know if it’s wrong. It just feels right. I put 3 in the grande fo sho.

The iced shaken espresso shots are the same as the Anericano shots, if that helps you remember things.
