Yeah I just had someone ask me in drive thru for hot chocolate but basically with decaf coffee in it. I said we could put decaf shots in it, but it would still have some caffeine, so I said we could just make the hot chocolate and that it’s just mocha syrup and milk. Customer was like doesn’t the mocha have coffee/caffeine in it. Which prior to working at Starbucks had always been how I understood mocha to be chocolate w/coffee. So I can see the confusion

No, not sure when it changed, but no vanilla

I was thinking maybe they wanted a vanilla steamer, without realizing how to order it. But it’s been awhile since I worked there not realizing that it no longer has vanilla.
