... and I panicked because I couldn't figure out where the portafilter or tamp was to pull my shots. Very patient trainer explained to me you don't have to do any of that on a Mastrena. Baby steps, y'all. Good vibes to all fellow very green beans.

My prior cafe experience was at an Italian place where we had to tamp too. I was dazzled by the fancy new machines here haha.

Yeah dude! I can't decide if I like or dislike the M2s - they're SO much easier and faster than a traditional espresso machine, but part of me misses the finesse and control. Seriously fine-tuned to accomplish the volume of orders Starbucks has to fill, and I'm usually not even working at peak lol.
