Wtf it’s totally allowed, why wouldn’t it be? We put matcha powder, vanilla bean, fruit inclusions, Frappuccino chips, bananas, and all kinds of things in those blenders. What special, harmful trait do blueberries possess that those things do not? Let’s use some critical thinking here, people.
Also, there is a button on the POS to charge for blueberries in a beverage. It’s an approved modification.

idk if this is answering the question but i’m pretty sure it’s allowed as long as you charge them, i think the only reason you have to sanitize is because the blenders are pretty gross in general and putting fruit in there would probably make gross things happen if you left it long enougj

If they paid for the blueberries. And yes u need to sanitize afterwards due to allergens. My shift said the same thing before.

For a long time the only food allowed to be blended per beverage resource manual were the blueberries and bananas. No other food was allowed. Now it’s more of a store by store “make the moment right” when it comes to food items that contain common allergens being blended. BRM has been being changed and updated lately, but it’s the best place to look for that info.
