Why do people feel the need to yell? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Diegosnotrod1
Today So far I’ve had so many people yelling at me for multiple reasons even though I have no control over any of it. I’m literally so done with today and genuinely feel like shit now because of the amount of people that have screamed at me. Here are just some of the reasons
Reason #1 our cafe is closed and people have to come through the drive through

Reason #2 the drive through has built up snow and a little rut from people spinning tires (we’ve called to get it paved but no one is coming to do it) [i got told I should be going outside and shovelling the drive through in negative degree weather]

Reason #3 Someone got mad because their drink wasn’t ready when they literally pulled up to the window without telling us at the order box they had literally put the order in as they pulled up

Reason #4 someone had to wait 10 minutes for their mobile order after waiting 20 minutes to come pick it up and then proceeded to yell cuss and scream at me because the drink was no longer extra hot and was just warm. Then proceeded to scream that I needed to turn off in store pickup and turn on just pickup for drive through. I tried to tell him that I have no control over it(if we turned it off it would shut mobile off completely) and his wife decided that wasn’t a good enough a response and screamed her head off and told me we do and I’m just being lazy. I tried offering to make them. The drinks again and then they said you better make it again.

I’m so tired of people treating me like shit and them being entitled. You’re not better than me just because I work minimum wage making coffee. I’m just trying to get through college bruh
