Lol two Karens asked if I was stupid when I repeated their drinks 🙃

I've learned that, in the defense of one of my beloved baristas, I've found that hitting these kinds of customers with a "thanks- it wasn't a volume issue for me, but /now/ I've got that drink in for ya! anything else I can get you today?UwU" was really satisfying

Today was my first day of my third week with Starbucks, so naturally I’m a little slower than some on the register. I find myself asking customers to repeat their order more than most and I occasionally get the ones who give attitude and repeat their whole order back to me. I just kindly let them know that I’m new and I want to make sure to get their order correct. Works most of the time.

I swear these people come in and recite a 30 page essay in one go and expect us to get everything to the T in like 2 seconds. Then if you ask them to repeat the order, they'll recite the whole thing again but with a louder voice and a smirky attitude. Like, dude wanna switch places with me?
