Dread going back to work for Starbucks (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by tdailydose
I was on isolation for almost 10 days and it was a great mental break. Honestly It got to the point I felt sick and my body felt like I was sick. I have never call off and was always on time for work. Have always been a hard worker and reliable partner for the past 9 years. Lately it has been like crap and made me hate going to work. I was thinking of holding it out for a little longer so I can get my other online business that I’m working on up running. I need tips to stay for Starbucks a little longer…

A big piece of advice I have heard is if you are deciding whether or not to stay, leave. You’ll regret staying if youre on the fence. Plus its always time for a fresh start! I was a partner for a little less than 6 months and I feel like quitting to work on bigger things was the best decision!

I got that way toward the end of my employment with Starbucks. I physically felt sick having to get up and go work there. After I quit I almost immediately felt better.

Quitting Starbucks was one of the best things I ever did for my mental health ✌🏻
