Got diagnosed with Covid Tuesday … feeling awful at home … boss is like “okay but can you come in tomorrow I have no one to close.” Like bruh… no… I am sick af right now leave me alone! (Yes I’m Vaccinated and have had Covid before - so love this for me) (self.starbucksbaristas)

I hope all baristas who are being told they can work with COVID tell the all of the customers they are serving that they’re positive.

Sounds like a good reason to unionize your store - if your partners agree. This is unacceptable friend - I am sorry your manager is dehumanizing you.

I soo feel this .. I’m an opener and felt like this for 3 days before I tested positive same thing .. then wanted me to go back I said nope called my DM and said I’m taking 10 days

i low key had a manger tell me straight to my face “i’m not here to care about peoples feelings i’m here to run a business.” she was also one of those white woman “allies” but was also unapologetically micro aggressive to minorities and POCs and would rather choose to believe a white mans word over a WOC.

I feel your pain, I was told to come in while COVID positive as long as I didn’t have a fever or was vomiting.

Yeah the 5 day isolation ended Monday for me- before my test results came back even… but I was definitely symptomatic still at the 5 day mark.
