I know I can just call the number but last time I had to wait like 5 days for them to call me back because no one was available so I'd rather ask here while I wait.

Has anyone had transgender affirming surgeries (in my case it'd be a form of bottom surgery, but I think any surgery would work for this answer) and what was the coverage like? I know at least for my HRT, I'm only set to pay a certain number every time but how do the surgeries work? Is it the same way, like "Oh this is how much it's gonna cost with insurance" or is it different? Like are surgeries covered in a different way than just what it's going to cost with insurance?

Sorry if this is worded badly, I am on some strong pain medication for a broken finger.
