Need Some Banking Help (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Furd_Turgesonn
I'm in a bit of a pickle my friends and need some help to try to try to save myself.

I am a partner of over 12 years and have NEVER had an issue with money until recently. In December I came in to work one day to close and our opening SSV asked me what I did with a deposit from 4 days earlier. I told her I put it in the safe but she told me that it was not there. I know 100% that I dropped the deposit because I had a $10 overage the night of the deposit in question and wanted to ensure I dropped the money correctly (in case the 10 was from the float/til/extra to add to the deposit).

Today my manager asked me again where the deposit could be and I literally told her what I know happened, I dropped it in the safe that night so I have no idea what could have happened.

Is there some way to track door 2 activations throughout the week? I am at an absolute loss and my manager basically warned me that next step is an investigation and whenever those happen a partner is typically terminated for it.

I also don't want to get too paranoid but I also fear that ANOTHER SSV at my store did something when checking door 2 as that's the only other way that could explain the missing bag. He has been trying to transfer out for a month now and I've always felt he wasn't a big fan of me. But it could also be all in my head.

There should be cameras facing the safe that will show what happened. If you dropped it, you’ll be fine. And yes, we all have different codes for a reason, I would imagine they can see who accessed door 2 all week.
