Does the 1/24 pay raise addition for tenured partners count for those with cumulative 2+ years or just consecutive 2+ years? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Most-Yellow4842
I have been with Starbucks since June 2019, but quit and took a break for about 4 months somewhere in the middle of my time there, but I’ve been back for almost a year. I know that partners who have been with the company for 2+ years are getting a 5% increase from the 14$ starting rate, but I’m wondering if anyone knows if I would be included in that since I have worked there for over 2 years, but just not consecutively. Also since it’s not like I was gone for years, just a few months, and I even have my same partner numbers and everything, so I feel like it would make sense for me to be seen as a tenured partner.

No, I don’t think you’ll be considered as a tenured partner. I believe that if you quit even if for a few months and get the job again you’ll keep your original partner numbers but not your original hire date.
