Question, our new manager has decided that we don’t need floor mats anymore in our store and all the shift leads have informed her that we do not have eco grip floors and therefore the mats are required. She refused to listen to us and threw the mats out, after we showed her in the safety manual where it discusses mats and the standard, she apparently had a discussion with our Dm who informed her that we only need two mats, one in front of espresso bar and one in front of our back sink. If anyone knows if there was an update on mats or something that I can’t find in partner resources that would be helpful. The way our store is set up espresso, register, and cold bar are all separated so I was under the impression there is supposed to be a mat in front of each and mats in front of back sink and ice machine. Any information anyone has would be really helpful!
