according to standards, no ur not supposed to have non-starbucks pins but if ur SM is chill, it shouldn’t matter. i have a cat barista pin on my apron and all i get are compliments on it.

Where do we get pins?? Also I hate the Starbucks hats the fit and style are weird to me, I’m not sure if this is an only me opinion 🤷‍♀️

Hats? My current store and the store I transferred out of state from doesn’t wear hats

according to policy we are only allowed to wear pins on our hats (not aprons sadly) and you can only have one non-starbucks pin that represents your support of a labor organization if i’m not mistaken.

in my area it seems that the enforcement of this rule is pretty lenient though, i’ve seen long employed baristas wear pins on their aprons without being reprimanded and others who have several non-starbucks official pins on their hats. i would personally advise you to follow the policy, but as long as your pins are appropriate i don’t really think it’s likely you’ll be reprimanded. again, i would advise you to stick with the look book guidelines bc you never know when a higher up will come see you! i was actually really embarrassed when my DM came in and i knew dang well i wasn’t supposed to have pins on my apron. i wasn’t told anything about it but in the groupme we got a reminder text to follow the dress code that evening! i definitely put my pins on my hat as soon as i got home that day lol
