Back in late October I referred my friend to get hired at my store. My manager was pleased and said I'd be getting the $600 bonus. Fast forward to now and I still haven't gotten it. I brought it up to one of the shifts asking if he could mention it in the shift meeting, which he did. Apparently my manager told him that she doesn't know if the bonus is still 'active', even though the sheet is still hung up in the back room. Am I in the wrong to be upset about this? I was really counting on that bonus to put in my savings, and if I missed this opportunity it's her fault for not submitting a notice to whoever to include it in my paycheck. And yes, my friend has now been at the company for over 90 days, so that isn't an issue.
