Transferring to another country, has anyone done this?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve been looking to move for awhile and I was just wondering if anyone was successfully able to transfer to a store in a whole different country?

It is not possible. Starbucks does not do international transfers; you have to quit and reapply.
I think the closest thing I've heard is maybe from people who go from US to Canada, or vice versa, but if you're trying to do something like US to UK, you'll have to quit and reapply. Starbucks doesn't sponsor visas, and I believe the systems are different overseas, plus to the best of my understanding, there are a lot more licensed locations in Europe as well.
Even if you already have citizenship, they won't be able to transfer you. You can try speaking with your SM about it, or digging around on the Partner Hub, but unless something has changed recently, it's unfortunately not possible

You can do an international transfer. you’ll have to talk to your SM, the DM, have the visa to show you’re moving, etc.
even if you don’t have a visa, the earlier you let them know, the better. you can read about everything in the partner guide (the most updated one was in april 2020)

I'm a partner in Canada right now because I go to university here but in from the US and will have to go back in August. From what I understand my manager can help me with a transfer but I could be wrong
