Here’s some latte art I’ve done in the past 2 weeks. I’m transferring to a reserve bar, and my first shift starts tomorrow. (reddit.com)

How anyone can do latte art with our pitchers amazes me
howdudo 3 points 1y ago
This is also my question. I have a hard time believing they are using the standard pitcher

All of these were poured with the standard Starbucks pitcher. You know that bowl we used to display oatmeal in the pastry case? I found out recently that this bowl was really good at getting nice latte art with, and that’s what these pours are in.

I’m so jealous of these mine are nowhere near as good. I’ve thought of transferring but the reserve location aren’t very close to me especially now that I’ve moved

Some tips on doing latter art with our pitchers? At home I'm able to do hearts and tulips, but at work I'm only able to do hearts with very poor contrast, it drives me crazy

Definitely work on milk steaming. I know we see this advice every time someone asks for latte art help, but with the way these pitchers are shaped, you really need some extra finesse with milk prep. Make sure to position your steam wand off center, and give your milk about 1-2 seconds of light aeration. When you’re ready to put your pitcher on the machine, position your steam wand to get that nice whirlpool effect, and you should be pretty good on milk. After that, it’s really up to motor control and hand-eye coordination.
