My mental health has been really bad the past few months and so I have had to call out a few times because I either slept in too late or my anxiety pills made me too drowsy etc. My manager (who is pretty nice) said that next time I come into work he wants to have a talk with me about it. He said I'm not in trouble but I'm still nervous. I surprisingly really love my job and my coworkers and I wouldn't want to do anything to mess it up. What do y'all think he wants to talk about, and how can I prepare for it?

As your manager he probably just wants to touch base with you and see if anything at work is causing mental health problems, that way he can work with you to get over this hurdle or make changes to help you out. Be honest with him, if theres any concerns you may have and try not to stress out. He said himself youre not in trouble so just look at it as your manager wanting to make sure his partners are taken care of. Best of luck!

This. Sounds more like a “any strategies we can use to help with this” talk than a “quit fucking up” talk. Honestly sounds like you have a good and empathetic store manager.

i don’t think you have anything to worry about unless you actually did something wrong . maybe they wanna talk about how they are able to help you out . my manager did that when i was dealing with being at the hospital and stuff . honestly , just go in next time with good thoughts and intentions . if he says you’re not in trouble , then you’re not in trouble .

You’re overthinking. You said it yourself, he’s pretty nice and he said you’re not in trouble.
He’s probably just gonna ask about what’s going on with you, if there’s something he can do to help, etc…
Or maybe he’ll report you to the police, who knows
