Licensed Store Baristas (self.starbucksbaristas)

Does anyone here work at licensed stores? What is your experience? I'm starting at a Marriott (owned by Delaware North). Pretty excited to be a Starbucks Barista even if I'm not working for corporate. I have prior barista experience at Dunkin and Scooters Coffee but have always wanted to learn the Bux way.

Excited to begin this journey!

Hi there. Congratulations on your new position! I worked for corporate sbux for 6 years and have stayed in a barista-tangent position since then (including Dunkin for a season). I’ve now been working at a Target sbux for the last 5 months and honestly the work is the same as at a corporate sbux location. But the benefits are not lol! Good luck

Thank you! I'm full time and get full benefits through Delaware North thankfully. Which do you prefer, corporate or tarbux?

So glad to hear about your benefits! It’s a necessity for real. Uh I think I prefer corporate to licensed but mainly for the free drinks and free coffee beans. I am happy here at Target but might see about rejoining corporate in the future lol
