Help me diagnose our horrible white mocha pump pls (self.starbucksbaristas)

For some reason my store has this one white mocha pump that is nearly impossible to pump, and doesn’t look any different from the others so it keeps being used. It is properly assembled, has all of the correct parts, and is perfectly clean, but for some reason you have to practically use your body weight to pump out the white mocha sauce. Any ideas on why this is happening and/or how to fix it?

Try replacing the gasket at the very bottom of the piston. Our pump had this problem and that piece was misshapen and catching on the tube creating too much friction. Every new pump comes with a little bag of parts, it should be in there!

Are you positive it has a mocha spout on it and not a chai one? Make sure it has the large hole at its base and not the tiny one.
