How long did it take everyone to start? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I had my interview on the 11th. I got the job on that day. Then i filled out all of the stuff online. My manager asked for my availability a week ago. I haven’t heard back since. Am I just really anxious to start? Or is it taking a while?

you’ll be okay, i don’t think you have anything to worry about. i had my first training shift nearly a month after being interviewed. they can always be finding someone to train you or waiting until the next 2-3 weeks of the schedule is finalized! but good luck!

Schedules are made three weeks in advance so that is probably why your manager asked about your availability

i also had my interview around that time. if you haven’t submitted a background check, then it’s at least a week-10 days more just because of that. if the background check has passed, you should be starting soon. your SM will email you with ur training days and then you’ll see yourself on the schedule
