this! we have a customer that asks for 2 fingers of cream. like what does that even mean. everyone has different hand sizes. we can't type fingers into am ask me. just what lol

I would measure about 2 inches of whatever it is. I would clarify by responding back something like *so about 2 inches of coffee/cream/whatever in the cup?!* That forces them to reframe their request with a solution you both understand and can comply with quickly that should not upset them.

when customers word things like this I have to resist the urge to make a "sounds like what I did to your mom last night" joke SO BAD.
we once had a customer ask for extra whip by asking us to "whip it real good" and we all died laughing. she was sweet though, very fun to give her all the whip she could ever ask for in a drink 😂
