Anyone know why I didn’t get to keep my old partners numbers now that I’ve been rehired?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I was rehired this month after 5 years away. My original numbers were 203**** now I have an 8 digit number starting with a 3. It’s not a big deal but I still remembered my original numbers and now I’m annoyed.

That's interesting. I got rehired after 5 years as well and kept mine. Is it at the exact 5 year mark that they delete them?

you should be able to. i know a partner that just got rehired and got their 180**** back.

I was rehired. I got my old numbers. Everything is linked to ur social security number. However I want to add that getting ur old numbers back is a mission. It was a mission for me.

My boss is on vacation during my first week, but I may press her on it when she gets back.

Welp I think it’s probably lazy end on ur sm part. For me, I did ask if I will get a new number or keep my own n my sm said just keep ur old. But it took him almost an hr to do this.

tbh a number is a number. Idk why partners make it a big deal. Experienced baristas, regardless of their tenure, are treated as crappy as the new hires.
