Trouble with my pay (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by BlindHIllCorpse
So I’ve been working for about a month now and have been through two pay cycles. The fist was training (didn’t get that one) then my first pay check last pay cycle. I signed up for direct deposit but noticed my check was never deposited into my account.

I called the partner services and they told my pay check was sent to their money services instead. And after 4 hours of pure frustration about a card I needed but never received they finally gave me a temp number and I was able to get my money and make the transfer.

They charged me 13 dollars for it and told me it’d take 2-3 business days for it to go through. This was 11 am last Friday and I’ve yet to see a dime.

At this point I’m frustrated and feel as if I’m working for free and tempted to find another job that won’t mess up payment. I don’t know what to do.

Called the money service and they told me it’d go through late today but still nothing.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

my first paycheck came through on a money network car. that was mailed to a different store. money network just seems like a pain in the ass. i do think i owe them like 12 cents and should check on it. but i just went over to the other store after my manager told me where it was and let the other sm know i was coming for it. i hope it goes through tonight and you never have to think about money network again

Also started in January and partner hub didn't originally have direct deposit info for me (despite me giving it during onboarding stuff) and defaulted to the money service card. I was able to catch and correct it early enough that my direct deposit came through today with no problems, but I'm suspicious that our entire group of new partners is in the same boat with money service woes.
