Did they change the recipe for our sanitizer? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve seen a lot of posts lately about dry hands and allergies to the sanitizer, I had a reaction a couple of weeks ago and haven’t directly touched any cleaning supplies without gloves since then because I’m scared of it happening again :( it’s never happened to me before and I’ve been with the company for a few years.

I think so, either the soap or sani bc i’ve never had an issue before and now after 1 shift i have bright red itchy hands

It makes me wonder if it has to do with the concentration. At my old store (and I'm assuming at most of them) the sani was never pH tested. The last time it was, we found out it was extremely over concentrated.

Pretty sure they changed the hand soap to one with sea salt.

I started in late August and I have had serious issues with my hands the whole time. I’m thinking of bringing my own hand soap to see if it helps.

omg i was just thinking this the other day, ive never had a problem w/ our sani or hand soap, but recently my hands have broken out in red itchy splotches after my shifts!
