“ CUP Fund is a financial assistance program that helps Starbucks partners who experience a financial crisis resulting from an illness, the death of a partner or family member, or being a victim of natural disaster or other extreme circumstances. All Starbucks partners are eligible to apply for assistance.”
Not sure if that helps with your situation, but you should definitely apply given the last line! Wishing you and your family safety and better circumstances ❤️

If you reach out they will send you an application with all eligibility criteria. Good luck.

Here’s what I’m gonna say; be very specific in your wording about what your going to use the money for.
Make sure it falls into the catagory of things that the cupfund pays for.
I was literally living out of my car but since I said I was going to use it for groceries and baby stuff (I’m homeless I don’t have a rent to struggle with currently) I was denied

Take this worth a grain of salt, but the last I heard through a Partner who tried to apply for it was that you have to deplete all your other financial options to be considered for the CUP fund- selling any stocks you have granted and whatnot.

I know that there are specific things it can and can't be put toward. If you log onto the hub at home (partner.starbucks.com) you could either search for cup fund or I know I've navigated into finding the guidelines, maybe through the Benefits category. Sorry I can't be more specific, I don't have it pulled up. But there are instructions for what expenses you could apply for and how to do it.
