Vaccine. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by IrkenQueen
I’ve been a partner since August. I actually like the job, but I’m not vaccinated. I’m pretty sure things are gonna get complicated sooner or later, so I want to know should I go ahead and quit ? I don’t have any plans of getting the vaccine and I’m not opposed to taking the test every week. But I feel like I may not get the hours because of it.

Should I quit and save me and the company any trouble ?

have fun getting covid and having it kick your ass

Thanks. It’ll feel good to actually be able to do nothing.

COVID does not feel good lol, absolutely kicked my mom's ass and she's vaccinated. My girlfriend is also feeling extremely lousy with it as well.

I didn’t say that having it would feel good. I said being stuck in my room, not doing anything but sleeping, would feel good. I don’t get a lot of down time.

Uh, assuming this isn't some weird bait, there's no need for you to quit as the company hasn't declared that every partner needs to get vaccinated, and it's not likely that they will make such a declaration without a mandate. However, the vaccine is effective and if you want to be safe and protect yourself and those around you, you might want to look into getting it.

Stick it out. They changed their vaccine rules so much that it's not worth quitting, instead wait until they fire you over it. And don't listen to people belittling you over it, there are many valid reasons to not be vaccinated, no partner should be discriminated against
3llybean 2 points 1y ago
Don't quit, let them fire you if that's what they choose to do.
JavaWasp 1 points 1y ago
They can’t fire you over it. Even if a mandate happens and you do not comply, you are technically quitting.

Just stay put. Lots of people aren’t vaccinated. (Here come the downvotes but the truth is the truth)

I think you’re fine. The mandate from Biden got shot down so I’d just sit and wait it out. Eventually people will forget about the virus all together. I wouldn’t risk your job over it

Idk about forgetting about the virus but the mandate was indeed shutdown by scotus. But local mandates still will be in play. So it will depend on where you work.

That’s valid local ordinances could vary.
