Newbie here. I’m recently started having trouble with dome lids. Is it me or just sucky lids? Any tips? TIA

BRUH, OUR LIDS ARE LEGIT SEASONAL.

SOMETIMES THEY'LL GO ON LIKE BUTTER, SOMETIMES THEY'LL LITERALLY MAKE ME CRUMPLE THE ENTIRE CUP 😭😭😭😭

Yes! Last week they were easy peasy! These past few days they’ve been so hard to put on… makes me get backed up

okay but have you guys gotten those lids that have this weird texture on the top? usually our some kids feel like the plastic cups but our new lids have this weird oily textured feeling on every lid and it’s so much harder to put on fraps these days lmao. we’ve been trying to pinch the sides when putting them in and sometimes that helps

also make sure you don’t put too much whip on the top that it overflows to the side of the cup (or fill the cup too much with the drink itself) because if whip or anything gets stuck on the lip of the cup itself, it gets really hard to get the dome lid on and it makes even more of a mess

My coworker taught me a great tip put another cup over the cup it gives you more stability

You can reuse the cups they don’t get dirty it just gives you stability and then you take it off once the lid is off

I find that if I squeeze/flex the lid a little before trying to put it on it goes on easier
