i hate people like this. i know it sucks but honestly steam the milk to make no foam, it’ll be insanely loud but it’ll shut her up

just a not so quick vent; i love my coworkers and all but theres one thing that bugs me a bit. i’ve worked with all the shifts for a good amount of time but there’s this one shift who only opens/works early morning shifts and i’ve prob worked the least with her. i worked a lot of early morning shifts, some with her, when i first started, but then i got put to more midday/closing shifts. (so i’m not really that close with her either, honestly speaking the shift that im most unfamiliar with) now i’ve been working here for 6 months and counting and im fully confident being put anywhere. however this shift only puts me on window/warming/pos like i’m a god damn green bean still 😭 i completely understand not putting me on bar during peak, but even after peak, when people are leaving/covering for 10s she will put newer baristas on bar but i’ve never been once put on bar when she’s shift. like once, i was coming back from my 10, shes dto, person on dt bar needed a 10, and instead of simply putting me on dt bar to cover their 10, she asks if i can solo dto/r and puts herself on dt bar. i know it’s simple to just ask to be put on bar but my ego is holding me back, it’s kind of like a if she trusts me then she’ll put me there. oh well. i’ll be waiting i guess. worked my last shift with her and i got put on window at 7:30 (i got asked to come in early lol idk why i agreed) and was stuck there until i left at 3 🥴

So when I have to make this no foam bitch of a hot drink whether is a latte or chai latte, I usually just steam more milk (max line) and pour with what u said about the spoon against the whatever. I scoop the foam laying there and repour with the spoon against the milk and scoop the foam out and repour. Repeat until it’s good. And I make sure there’s no room because that’s what the bitches want.

Edit: when dumb bitches say they ordered a hot frap and give me a smug look to which I say. There’s no hot fraps. What do u really want? Proceeds to order something completely different and I made sure I charged him the difference.

nothing to do with customers but am frustrated w my co workers 🙃 i called in sick yesterday because i didn’t feel good but then later that day i was starting to feel fine so i went out with my friends for a little later on in the day around 3 and if i went to work i would have been out by 1 so basically my best friends works with me too and they were shit talking me calling me lazy and mean and just like dogging me when i wasn’t there to defend myself and honestly idek how to react so i act normal next time i see these co workers or do i become what they think i am and just be rude to them back

Had the DTO talk a customer out of buying an Ethos bottle of water and talked them into getting a cup of water because it's free. Like, why are you talking customers out of buying stuff? We need to make money not lose it.
