Don't bother declaring is what I'm always told

If you're very concerned about the taxes, find out your store's usual weekly tip rate ($.85 per hour, $1.78 per hour, etc.) then look at your year to date hours and multiply.
I'd round down from that number. Most of our summer tip rate was much lower than it is now

honestly
i don’t think a lot of people declare tips, if this was your main issue
i work like on average 25-30 hours
tips are around $22-25, least at my location
that’s like $1 and something tip per hour
why does the irs want my $1?
but yeah

You can ask to see the tip distribution report most stores keep them on record ask the partner in charge of doing tips every week
