What does your store do for food and drink markout? I know the rules have been changed quite a few times with Covid, but I’d love to know how each store handles it.
Today I was told I couldn’t even get a food markout, even though I believe it’s still 7 per week for food? And you just don’t get a drink markout unless you work?

It’s 7 per week on days you work. So you can’t get markouts on your day off anymore but during your shift you can get more than one now as long as it doesn’t exceed 7 per week (Monday-Sunday).

This is what I understood too but no one will mark out more than one food for me. Do you happen to remember about when that announcement came out?

The register only lets you do one per a transaction so I’ll do like 5 transactions to get my mark outs haha I only work 2 days a week but I make sure to get all my mark outs

I believe October 4th was when the new markout policy started but I’m not sure when it was announced

we do 7 mark outs a week for food 30minute before, during and after your shift and same time frame for drinks. only when working

The 7 food is changing in feb. but from what I believe u can still get it since it’s still January (ends in jan)

That’s what I thought, as that’s what we follow at my store, but today the person at the store spoke to me like I was dumb for even suggesting it was one of my 7 😅

Even if it’s not 7 food. U are still entitled to get one food during ur shift. Like wtf that’s the normal policy.

nope you’re right. it’s 7 food markouts per week. you’re not stealing. if i were you i’d talk to your manager again and if your manager is still making you feel bad, talk to your district manager

If I get a warning ima show him the policy again. He questioned my English and ask if I really don’t have food at home. Like whether I have food at home it’s my benefit geez. He’s saying the district ain’t doing this why ain’t anyone else doing this.

It’s just don’t go overboard with it. We don’t have a strict number but if your taking 5 Items of day you’ll have an issue
