How's it like to work at Starbucks (self.starbucksbaristas)

I work at Dunkin' currently and considering applying to Starbucks when I move because there is a store right near my apartment. I know that Starbucks is a little competitive, but how is it like to work there? Work distribution, menu memorization (there's so many menus), employee perks, etc.

The drinks are definitely harder to make but u can definitely do it

I always say it depends on your management team. Those are my make or breaks for jobs.
The menu really isn't that hard to memorize as far as drink making. Most drinks have the same basic concepts. Not to mention that most starbucks training process take about six months in total. (Computer training is only a week at most)

i also came from a dunkin and it was 10x easier for me to get the hang of all 3 bars than it was for majority new beans according to everyone i currently work with.

the drinks follow the same patterns for the most part so its not terribly difficult to learn. as for employee perks theres a lot. i would check out the website perksatwork
