This is the most under appreciated job. It sounds like you were doing an awesome job. I never ever would have realized how mentally stressful this job is before working for the siren. You are not alone in shedding tears in the back room. I hope this never happens to you again.

3 people? I’ve never run a 3 person play where I haven’t made the decision to close the cafe. I don’t even ask, I just do. Your SM should have stepped up, but I think your ssv should’ve too.

So sorry you had to go through this. I’ve had to be on bar alone due to the same reasons. The best advice I can give you is don’t feel like you need to completely handle all of the drinks yourself. I used to teach the untrained workers to handle one type of drink (if they haven’t learned it already) and to make all of those. It’s an overwhelming job but your SM and SSV should take complete responsibility for not facilitating the workload! Hope what happened doesn’t happen again.
